This course organized exclusively in Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College under the vocational Programme sponsored by UGC to train undergraduate Physics students to improve their skills. The emphasis is to familarize the students with theoretical and practical aspects of communication media like print, radio, Television, Cinema and internet.

Along with their major academic subject, the physics students are trained in news coverage and reporting. They are taught how to articulate their ideas in media like news papers, radio, and television.

This course envisages to turn the physics student into a communication specialist while completing his regular academic syllabus.

The awareness generated at this introductory stage may encourage the student to become a communication researcher at later stage.

Another singular aspect of this course is specialized training offered to students in photography and videography, both in hardware and theoretical aspects.

A student who successfully complete this course will find great employment opportunities in the mass media, besides benefiting from the possibilities of self-employment.

The students have access to a galaxy of highly qualified teachers, professionals and media personel.

Infrastructuarly, we are well-equiped with a state of the art studio, with a separate facilities for shooting. Audio dupping and editing. The sophisticated communication lab has been funded by the UGC and organized according to the specification given by EMRC - Madurai in Madurai Kamaraj University.
